25 youth in Hesekê join YPG

HESEKÊ – Martyr Xebat Academy completed another training session that 25 youth attended in Hesekê.

The academy organized a ceremony for the new YPG fighters and it started with one-minute silence to commemorate all the fallen YPG, YPJ and Asayîş (Public Security) members. Later on YPJ Commander Nûjîn Dêrik made a speech on the recent attacks on Hesekê and said “We promised and will never give up our struggle for freedom”. She celebrated the new members and called on all young people to join the self-defense forces to defend their land.

The ceremony ended after the new YPG fighters swore that they will protect peoples in Rojava.
