New neighborhood to be established in Kobanî

KOBANÎ – Kobanî Reconstruction Coordination is going to establish a new neighborhood in the city center of Kobanî Canton.

The new neighborhood is going to be established in the area of the old hospital of Kurdish Red Crescent.

According to the coordination members, around 120 houses, schools, market place and a park will be built in the new neighborhood.

Kurdish Red Crescent opened a hospital in 2012 in this area, but the hospital was destroyed in ISIS attacks.
