Village of Memît liberated by YPG
KOBANÎ – People’s Defense Units (YPG) last night carried out an effective operation against the ISIS gangs in west of Kobanî and liberated Memît village.
ANHA correspondents on the ground reported the details of the operation and said the clashes continued today until 10 am and YPG forces killed 5 ISIS gang members. It is also reported YPG captured an important amount of heavy weaponry and munition.
In the operation to liberate Termik vilalge to the south of Kobanî, 6 ISIS gangs were killed and lost of munition were taken by YPG.
YPG forces also carried out two attacks on ISIS gangs on the road of Elîşar village and destıyed two ISIS vehicles. Casualties could not be identified.
